Condom Marketing and Distribution

1. Condom Promotion and Distribution:
UYAAS Condom Promotion and Distribution is very important intervention in the ABC strategy in Uganda and also in recognizing the fact that many youth especially in the age between 10 – 30 years both male and female are sexually active. It is on this background that UYAAS considered condom promotion and distribution as one of the major activities to promote the practice of safer sex and reduce the risk of HIV/AIDS, STDs and unwanted pregnancies especially among the youth.
GRAPH below: shows condom distribution in our areas of operation. From this graph it is very clear that number of female youth in need of condoms is growing.
